I mean, it's all "fat" so it could technically be considered the same thing, BUT when you cook food with that shit, the end results are so much better than when you cook with oils

I made sausage rolls for the first time last month
I see why Brits love it so much

As for favorite, its gotta be stews. Really anything that's slow roasted in a luxurious sauce: stewes, bourginon, curry, hell even like shepherds pie/pot pies scratch that itch
the way everything exudes flavors, so thick and rich
add some slices of homemade bread to soak it all up and feast
