Going to Weinberger’s Deli - in Grapevine, Texas tomorrow for lunch and I’m picking up a dinner to go. I’ll be taking pics tomorrow if my delicious Italian Beef sammich and I want you picky ass eaters to decide what sammich I order for dinner.

It's kind of a weird menu. It looks to me that they are very confused as to what they excel in, so it's hard for me to know if you should go chicago or new orleans here.

For the To Go, you can't beat a marinated muffaletta, which is going to get better the longer it sits. The bread roll can handle the wait, and for there, the italian combo, wet with gravy and with sweet peppers.or the kummelweck roll of the pug and kellys. It is in Texas, so maybe the BBQ will be better than most.

For a deli that is poorly named, not surprising they have zlp for desserts, and no pie or cheesecakes. *boggle*

It’s a deenz can sized space they have, so they focus mainly on sammiches. The sides aren’t great and everyone in dfw goes to Braum’s for dessert.

It's a pretty large menu and makes me think they probably use a lot of pre-made ingredients
Me, personally, I'm sensitive to a specific preservative, sodium metabisulfite, and I've learned to avoid places with that sort of menu because they're just high-risk
Basically, my suggestion to try someplace else is based on what I would do, not necessarily what you should do
But any place that has a big menu is going to have to either draw a huge crowd or just reheat premade foods, so if you want a good experience...do they turn a lot of tables?

I’m using the inverted dice method

Roll 5 dice and determine the value by adding up the unique values of the 1-6 faces that are not seen. A Yahtzee of 1’s is equal to 20 because the numbers not seen are 2,3,4,5, and 6 which sum up to 20.

If you ever have a long layover at DFW, take the TEXRail to Grapevin (2nd stop I think) walk to Weinberger’s and get a sammich. Everything is so good, especially the Italian beef.

Now that I looked it up, we've been there! It was at Grapevine Mills and we went bowling. Brought our own ball and shoes and we kept getting asked about our shoes. Was a pretty nice arcade from what I remember, but I haven't been back since.
