Same here, it’s all gutter oil and insects and dogs, I only eat American, fuck all ethnic trash. If it’s foreign, it’s a health hazard and full of bugs and ass shit

I just ate here for runch.

7.5/10, not my favourite noodre house in Sydney but really good. And unlike the other places around Shinytown it wasn't packed out the door so there was a limited number of grunting snorting bingbongs I had to tolerate.

Hot pot ingredient recommendations?
I usually add various dumplings, mushrooms, tofu, noodles, beef rolls, prawns and have little bowls on the side with dipping sauces, chilli oil and seasonings.
Thinking about having it again this Sunday but I want to go all out and make it special.

Give them some credit, they finally figured a sustainable way to dispose of all that toxic gutter oil. Just put it in a jar with an angry little boy on the label and sell it to Redditors.

They are riddled with parasites from ass eating to the point at which they crave gutter oil and democratic leadership

freeze some firm tofu, then thaw it out and put it in. it will take on a different texture and soak up the hotpot broth better. also, fish balls, octopus, squid, vermicelli, lotus root, daikon, lamb rolls. one very common dipping sauce is sesame/peanut mixed butter with a bit of oyster sauce and water, mix till creamy

I've never known anyone to have actually tried it. It would have to be stupendously good to convince me to buy it. I generally loathe products that are content currency.

I gotta admit....it's good! I actually wasn’t sure how I’d like this. I’m a picky eater and adorer of HOT and spicy food. Chinese food isn’t my fav, I’m not big on the sweet and savory dishes local spots offer but I do like savory dishes like fried rice and lo Mein when a craving hits. If you’re anything like me, you find both of those dishes from the local Chinese place to be kind of one dimension and uninspiring, flavor wise. I always saw this item on Amazon but never thought about trying it until a lo mein craving hit Me.. hard. As lo mein lacks flavor for me, I purchased this and it came later that day. when it arrived, I bought some lo mein, tried it on top of my noodles and good godddd is this delicious. It’s complex. I can’t describe the flavor at all, it’s very strange but delicious. It goes great on all Chinese food but let me tell y’all where it SHINED!!! One night, I made a huge pot of white rice and said forget it and ordered pizza, put it in the fridge. Few days later I found a seasoning packet for fried rice in my pantry and remembered I had a bag of mixed veggies, Eggs, and tamari in my fridge and to my delight I made some fried rice with that seasoning packet using my precooked plain white rice. While I’m putting it in my plate I realize, hey Let me try that chilli oil on this. I ate the entire 12 cups of rice with this stuff on it. Legit, the most gourmet tasting fried rice I had ever tasted and couldn’t wrap my head around the fact THAT I COOKED IT. It make it a delicious, enjoyable incredible experience to eat, I’m not kidding. This stuff is good. Last night I dipped eggs rolls in it.. so YUMMY. Would I eat this on pizza? NO!!! This was made for Asian cuisine. Give it a try! Glad I did.

Well the video's title is 'Chinese Cleaver 101: How to Chop, Slice, and Dice' and within the first 20 seconds the host says that the Chinese have a 'magical piece of equipment' that they use in their kitchens
He then picks up the featured cleaver (pic related) and says 'this is a knife that does everything'
Do you not see the problem here?

The problem is that the cleaver that they feature in the video is not a Chinese cleaver and the cleaver was not designed to do the tasks that they demonstrate in the video besides maybe cutting meat

I thought it was okay, not as flavorful as I would like and not enough to justify the price difference. Making your own chili crisp is actually a good idea if you want it to be really good and for less money
