yeah pour over is fine. i first fell into the reddit trap and got an aeropress. what a piece of shit. not only was the output inconsistent but it's fucking plastic that you pour boiling water into. honestly it doesn't take a bright guy to understand it's fucked up, i don't even know how i managed to get hoodwinked into buying one myself. then i got a v60 and it made good coffee and it's ceramic you know. why do you need anything else. coffee autists are retarded and i hope that covid 2 specifically targets them (i.e. kills them all). in conclusion. sneed.

I ask because while I would say that coffee people are pretentious about coffee, that says nothing of the quality of the pretension towards coffee - whatever they set out to accomplish to coffee and how they intend to achieve it.

Plain, brewed shorter but with a higher volume in a strong filter to limit acidity. More of a tea person if anything.

I just do a French press. Hot water, medium roast coffee, I stick it in the freezer and let it steep and cool down. I drink it with a silly stray and dump the grounds in the garden to keep the bugs out and the soil mildly acidic.
