i work in a kitchen, so i will typically graze on what scraps are lying around. my favourite things are the ends of cucumbers, bits of tomato, and carrots. if we have a fresh fish delivery, i will always have a piece of fish.

I pretty much do the same thing, boring boars head turkey and cheese, or ham n cheese, varying the meat occasionally with chicken or egg salad, or from jerk turkey to smoked turkey. Kept cold by a frozen water bottle that I might drink later on the way home, or refreeze.

Add a piece of fruit, like a gala apple, or a tangerine or peach. There will be chips that I may or not dip into, or repack the next day. I typically do add my starbucks double shot to my ice in my vacuum thermos to top it off from the morning iced coffee that is now gone. I might eat a little granola, biscotti or cookie, or repack it.

On days I oopsie and leave the lunch at home, I nuke my desk lidded soup mug with a can of progresso. If I intended to just do soup because I need to shop, I throw in a herb or citrus garnish in my bag, maybe with a roll or ream of crackers.
