I'm convinced red baron changed their sauce recipe sometime early 2010s like 2011-2012 or even earlier. I remember as a kid red baron sauce being especially good amongst the frozen brands, it had this extra tangyness to it that I can't quite describe. But at some point it changed and now red baron just tastes like all the other brands and it lost that "zing". OP right though tombstone is still pretty good they haven't changed. But I'll never forget what red baron used to be.

I believe it had a bit of spiciness to it? I remember in 2009 one of the frozen pizza brands had a bit of spiciness in their sauce, but since after 2010, I don't remember having it be as spicy unless I add crushed red peppers or jalapenos to it

Classic crust is where it is at, I let them sit and thaw a bit, cook them at 450 on the rack with some foil under to catch any drippings. I usually add some banana peppers. Red Baron flies below the radar (no pun intended)

I finally tried this brand a few months ago after seeing it in a grocery store I've never visited before because of all the times I've seen it posted on here and...it's legit just bog standard frozen pizza. As in it didn't try and differentiate the pizza from some other generic brand AT ALL, so still good but not the vibe that the packaging was going for. I do give points for them including the 2 seasoning packets though so that's kinda cool

This is the correct answer. Best price-calorie-taste ratio for me. Very solid frozen pizza, and they make a good base for adding toppings. Many drunk/stoned nights I've smashed one of these + a caesar salad.

I’m a fat fuck on a diet but when I feel particularly fat I save up calories to have one of these for dinner (covered in chili flakes). About 900 calories and I only eat Greek yogurt/protein shake/fiber supplements (chia seeds or something) the rest of the day. Sometimes I do the margherita or the buffalo chicken but for some reason keep coming back to this bad boy.
