There's an indoor farmers market I go to some times that has a donut shop inside. They tend to have more and different flavors to try than just standard like chocolate glazed and whatever. I've had a mint chocolate chip from them, various berry filled (blackberry, etc), bacon maple, and so on. They are always really good to have one or two to try.
