Kind of an easy answer but I'd say steak. The disparity between an overcooked, bad cut of beef and a perfectly cook good quality cut is immeasurable.

Went to the UK this last summer, and had a funny very minor cultural difference moment. I would order a beer saying "yeah I'll try that one out" and the bartender would (understandably) think I just wanted a sample. Whereas where I'm from (New England) that's always been understood as ordering a standard pint or whatever. While a very minor variation in wording would call for a sample, like "Can I just try that one?"

I used to work overnights in this office doing nothing in 2017 or so, and one thanksgiving a ginormous pecan pie, not high quality but good enough, especially cus of its size, was left in the staff fridge.
