Went to the UK this last summer, and had a funny very minor cultural difference moment. I would order a beer saying "yeah I'll try that one out" and the bartender would (understandably) think I just wanted a sample. Whereas where I'm from (New England) that's always been understood as ordering a standard pint or whatever.
