I'm a NEET, so I collect SNAP (food stamps), and there's a number of different benefits you can get from having that (indirectly). You can quality for discounted/free admission to some museums, also my city has electrified bike and stand-up scooter rentals and you get those mostly for free as well with the individual companies for showing your SNAP card.

Maybe they should waste less money on government literacy classes for your dumb ass because that's not what the text in that image says OP

Oh yeah, you don't get a discount on the individual items, but you do get 40% off the cost of renewing Amazon prime.

The most ironic part is that OP is acting like he's so far above rampant capitalism, and yet here he is, shopping at Walmart nonetheless. For a lot of poor people they don't have a choice of where to shop, because Walmart put most small town grocery stores out of business 20 years ago by offering prices they couldn't compete with (and then raising them once there was no competition, obviously). If you have enough money to choose where you can shop, while looking down on people who need government assistance, and you still choose to support a shithole like Walmart (not just bad business practices, but a complete shithole), you are the problem.

Free delivery (usually charged 7.50-9.99), special discounts on a couple hundred different items a week or month I forget when they rotate the items out, and a lot of basically cash-back deals on lots of items too. There are some other things like free paramount+ streaming but I don't know much about the non grocery related things it has, I think some xm radio bullshit and something about veterinarians. I dunno. I'm not a shill, I just use it because I have agoraphobia so I figured I'd answer.

you're describing corporatism
capitalism is the exchange of goods and services, and a capitalist is someone that believes that's the best way for everybody to increase wealthy
when you have corporatism what you're doing is taking advantage of the good will of others to effectively steal from them by making unfair rules where only you can win

first off you have to pay $6.99 if your order's below $35. second the drivers are paid shit just like other gig-economy workers, so they ask you to tip and if you don't there's a good chance your shit won't get delivered or will be fucked with

>> No.19577873

>>19577864
First off, why are you ordering delivery for under $35? Get off your ass, even I don't do that, if I just need something that cheap I force myself to go in person. Second, I tip 2 bucks, in a small town most people tip 0 so I'm the 'big tipper' around here. I do like that your response to simply answering some european about 'what is walmart+' is to complain about semantical bullshit.

>b-b-b-but if you only order this much
>bub-b-b-buu-bu-b-but the TIP isn't free!!! AND YOU SHOULD TIP THESE POOR GIG WROKERS!!!! (I never said the tip is free)

Cuckold, go back to work LOL.

wrong, capitalism does not mean 'free market'
it refers to the arrangement of capital hoarders employing people to work their capital for wages
corporations are a defining feature of capitalism
successful businesses will always use their proceeds to secure their advantage and punish competitors, so the logical conclusion of unregulated competition is corruption and overregulation
your faggot economic ideologies aren't worth shit to anyone

Correct
>therefor corporations define capitalism
Nigger, wtf kind of non sequitur is that? For one, show me a political or economic structure in history that does not involve small groups of people hoarding power. Are you some kind of crypto-tard or something?

>> No.19578169

>>19578113
He's right, power structures that result from ideology are more relevant than the pure ideals of it. Otherwise you'd be able to disconnect Soviet states from communism and go "well, that wasn't what communism is about". In the same way, corporate rule is definitional of capitalism. Arguing that consolidation of power is inevitable is not a denial of corporatism as being integral to capitalism, it's just a bad excuse for it.

>> No.19578186

You can HAVE a capitalistic autocracy, in fact you can make a pretty good argument that China is one. And Korea's "corporations" are pretty much just plain oligarchies. We've already determine that capitalism isn't limited to free markets; corporations aren't the defining structure of capitalism, they're the defining structure of industry not being state-owned.

If I'm spending 100$ a month on protection I fucking expect you to protect me, my entire cancer treatment should be free, my medication should be free. It shouldn't be automatically denied before review because it's more cost effective.
