What's the best coffee + food combination?

As a former Louisianan, I have no recollection of beignets from my time down there. I assume they taste like funnel cake but mostly I remember the savory spices, the cane sugar, the gumbo, and the really weird stuff. I'm sure they have a rich history or else Hollywood would have cancelled them by now, but seems like tourist food to me.

Manchego. Sounds like a joke but I'm dead serious. Not for dipping, of course but eating a bit of Manchego as you have your choice really elevates both.

Split a plate with marching band friends when we went on a trip to N'Orleans, were alright, though agree on pairing it with coffee. Donuts are usually too heavy, unless a crueller or those bad boys.
