Wegmans used to have a store brand of the Entemann's pastries. They were cheaper than the name brand but tasted so, so much better. I had to control myself from buying one every week and eating the whole fucking thing myself. Suddenly I couldn't find them anymore for like two months so I asked what was going on. I talked to a big time manager and they told me it was discontinued because of the trans fat in the recipe but they were going to update the ingredients and bring it out again.
You can probably guess what happened. It came back and not only were they way more expensive but they tasted like shit.
Remember in "The Fly" when what's her name took a bite out of the steak that went through the transporter and she spit out and said it tasted artificial? That was me with that six dollar raspberry pastry.
