Could be. But the green varieties of Tabasco, Cholula, and Franks are all superior to the originals (imo), so maybe not.
Maybe I will just get a red and a green and see what I prefer.
There are at least a dozen varieties of El Yucateco in the grocery store here, so I never knew which one to try.

put your autism down for a minute and just buy the sauce and eat it. they're all good and if you like Habanero sauce you'll likely finish the small bottle. I'd start with green or Xtra hot since they are mostly just Habanero, although they all have almost the same flavor profile with very slight differences. the Xtra hot tastes exactly like Habanero sauce I've made straight from my garden. This sauce is the reason I don't grow habaneros anymore.

I'd avoid the black one if you don't like smoke/char taste.

red, then green. the rest of the family is really good too but those are the table standards.

I'd say 3/1 sour cream to Yucateco for a milder sauce, 2/1 for a hotter sauce, other ingredients are to taste really.

Orange and Mayan are the best, tho they are hotter.
But like some other guy said they all kind of taste similar except for the black one.

El yucateco is probably the least vinegary hit sauce brand I've ever tried.
I think you're confusing it with something else?

nægrœ are you shrooming? compared to standards like 'basco or Frank's or many, many others, el Yuck is definitely not very viniggery. it's a chunky vegetably mix that tastes of habaneros and veggie seasonings with but a HINT of acidity.

you're shrooming. I still encourage you to make your own sauce though, that's always fun and sometimes even worth it.

I hate third world music on the radio. Slowly and slowly they creeped into our media. Pitbull wasn’t noticeable. But then Danza kuduroo came on, and we got more and more third world “artists” on the radio.
