How do you manage your weight?

I'm a bad person, I'm a horrible person, I feel so fucking bad about myself. I hate myself.
Everywhere I go theres trouble. I always guilt trip people. Things are always worse when I'm around. I should just leave. I wish I wasn't alive.

I weigh food and do the math for cooking throughout the week, but I'll do one meal per week where I don't. Usually a big american diner style breakfast on friday. It's important I stay fit for my job so I am very strict with myself for caloric intake, and I track protein/carbs/fat but am not incredibly strick with those. My go to meal is ground bison with rice, beets and cilantro or trimmed chicken thighs cooked on the grill with rice and vegetables. I like to do alot of roasts in my le creuset in the oven on the weekends, spatchcocked chickens, but stuff has to stay simple in order to not be massive calories per serving. Basically anything in a restaurant or cookbook gets most of it's flavor from large calorie dense fat sources (nothing wrong with fat, just higher calorie per gram) or nutrition sources that are largely wasteful for my macronutrient needs.

My wife has helped me alot too, but she'll make pies or kolaches frequently too. Those days I just hit more cardio if I can.

I eat once a day. I make one giant portion of something delicious and fast the rest of the day. Just one giant meal that ranges from 1400-2000 calories.

If I get hungry I'll eat a granola bar or some vegetables or something, but minimum is make it ~16 hours before eating anything.

over a month I'm down from 328 to 315
I'm taking semiglutide (ozempic) for diabetics. It changes your insulin resistance and makes you sick af but not puking. Sugar shit is now sickeningly sweet and filling your stomach is no longer rewarding- like you can still demolish a plate of wings but you get nothing from it. The main ingredient however is that you're queasy all the time, like carnival ride motion sickness. It never rises to the level of throwing up but it's there at the back of your throat. Side effect is severe constipation so I'm eating almost nothing but cobb salad, honeydew, apples and bananas which is like 1200 calories on a bad day.

After month 2 I'm going to switch to intermittent fasting and going back to mostly chicken diet. Breaking 300lbs and staying under is my goal. I'm so tired of being a fat fuck.

You have to be whole yourself first man. I know it seems a woman will fix your problems, but you'll only find a good woman if you're stable.

It's harder for the younger generation (im 34) since everything is vapid online dating, but try to get introduced to a friend of a friend.

Keep at it. I've never been that fat and I think what you're going through is a more psychologically difficult thing than your average person, but I think surrounding yourself with good people will be the best thing you can do, if you aren't already. It's hard to get better when people around you won't stop reminding you of who you were.

Work up to fasting an entire day by skipping breakfast for a week or two. I've that's habit, you can move on to restricting your "eating window" to 8 hours, then 6, then 4, and possibly 2. By that point, you may inadvertently fast an entire day, which is a good milestone and goal. At that point, it's a question of how aggressively you want to drop body fat and what you can sustain. I went from ~280 to sub-180 where I am now using this method somewhat haphazardly/over the course of a few years; guys I have counseled since then have made much faster(heh) progress. Anyway this is my gentle method for losing weight, it costs nothing but effort, and it really really works.

I'm underweight but people get very surprised when they see what I eat. I eat a lot of carbs and have big proportions everyday. People think I'm skinny because I have a fast metabolism but I actually have a slow one.

The reason I am skinny is because I try to make everything from scratch and avoid all fast food or frozen ready made meals. Drinking mostly water helps too. I don't drink coffee, soda, or alcohol which are the biggest contributors to weight gain for a lot people imo. I like to have juices sometimes during the summer but I don't make it a daily thing because then it's easier to gain weight. Also since I eat a lot of carbs, I move around a lot otherwise doing nothing will also make me gain weight. I don't go to a gym and I've never been athletic but I do like to take walks everyday which helps

I eat only one meal a day, and I run 5k every other day(also do some kettlebells after).

Last time I measured my weight was like 2 years ago at a doctors place. I don't care how much i weight, I care if I feel good in my own body. As long as I'm fit I'm good. But i think I was 73 kg when i was measured.

I was blessed with genetics that make it quite hard for me to put on weight. If I do, it's usually from over consuming nonsense like potato chips and alcohol as they are mostly empty calories. But otherwise, I'm on average a skinny fuck and can eat a lot without any issue. I do try to manage things, though. Obviously weight isn't the only thing you need to worry about. You don't want your arteries to clog up, damage your teeth, get diabetes and so on.

I cook proper portions of meat and carbs with no regards to how healthy it actually is, then load up on seasoned veggies. I demolish bundles of carrots and celery with a home made dip that's basically thickened hot sauce.
Between rounds/levels/matches I'll take a quick break to do 10x squats with 1 plate, 10x pushups and some other random set, then drink a glass of water. It's not so much for fitness but to keep me active, focused and hydrated so I don't start snacking out of boredom.
When I watch anime I put it on my TV and use my stationary bike every other episode.
