It's not bad. You melt the cheese on the rice and it comes out pretty good. I've never had it with hot sauce though, I think that would ruin the rice. Depends on the hot sauce though I guess, maybe something more asian would make it work.

I used to live on a leek, an union, beans and some rice.
dice the union and brown, add the leeks and rice cover and bring to a boil
if you have beans in a can you add then a few minutes before the end to warm up but if they are dried just add them at the start
you can blend it but it really becomes an unappetizing mush
