This is just vinegar with red food coloring right? Is there some kind of joke I'm not in on?

>NOOOOOO YOU CAN'T JUST HAVE A TABASCO BOTTLE IN YOUR HOUSE, WHERE IS YOUR HECKING WALL OF HOT SAUCES!?

It's spicy vinegar made with chillis, it's not red food colouring. It's also based and a Swiss Army Knife in the kitchen. It also comes in Habanero.

This thread adds nothing of value to this board - good job OP considering how many trash threads there are on this board typically.

Tapatio fag here. Tobasco is only good in green form.

that's basically what it is and there's nothing wrong with that

Should have got the vax, bro. Your tastebuds are shot.

this stuff however, is just wrong. it's incredibly mild but they dilute the vinegar with water, just really weird stuff

The habanero tabasco is the only good one I’ve tried. Has stuff like mango and banana purée in, probably why it’s so sweet. Has the habanero flavour but the tabasco pepper stank is still in there a bit. Not a favourite but as I said it’s the only tabasco product I’ve tried and enjoyed.

The Tabasco Chipotle sauce is good too.

Great cooking starts with simple honest products. I personally prefer Cayenne pepper or piment d'Espelette. But I have no problem with Tabasco. It's your choice really.

I don't usually care for hot sauce, but this right here is amazing. It's the only hot sauce brand I've tried that I liked. I don't mind some spice or hotness, but I don't like overly vinegary sauces like Tabasco. I mean, you REALLY have to like vinegar.

Cholula is great but the deep red brown Chipotle is best

Never tried it, is it really vinegary? Because I don't like regular tabasco.

Wow everybody look at the big man who eats REAL hot sauce. You are so cool and special with your incredible desensitized taste buds

Cholula really is the greatest general purpose hot sauce. The Chipotle sauce version seemed sacreligious but a lot of you seem to like it so maybe i’ll try. It’ll be hard to beat my favorite chipotle sauce by O’ Brothers. Which I humbly submit to this thread. Their habanero and chipotle are god tier. Dont care for the jalepeno.

Tabasco only seems good on eggs or cajun/seafood dishes. Kind of an acquired tasted

Best for making bloody marys. Only real thing its good for too.

This, I don't really drink but when I went on a cruise I noticed a lot of people were ordering blood marys and lots of them wanted Tabasco sauce in it or extra tabasco sauce. There was one lady who wanted like 4-5 shakes of it in her bloody mary.
