Lasagna is God Tier if it's made well, and absolute shit tier if it's made lazy or with cheap ingredients. There is never an in between.

Strangely, I almost can't disagree...
ONCE.
Only once, did I have a lasa that was OK, but NOT GREAT.
I really shouldn't be that hard though.

I don't get neither lasagna, nor any dough+sauce stuff
The main part is still tasteless nutritionless dough with some cheese/meat, but it still tastes mainly like dough. Why would you want to eat dough, when it should be meat + vegetables? I get that it might be cheap, but it just seems so bad to me, just a step above HFCS

Why use meat at all.
I make an absolutely delicious spinach mushroom lasagna. Using basing ingredients made from my local grocery. The sauce is easy too. Using canned tomatoes.

I get that it's pretty good, but wouldn't it be more nutritious and flavorful if it had potatoes or even cabbage as base rather than dough? I don't know what specific dish I'm thinking of with this

I understand your point, but truly WELL MADe Lasagna is a beautiful thing.
Calzones--provided they aren't Goyslopped, are top tier too.
