It's actually an incredibly clean and eell kept restaurant. The pic was after me and a buddy went there after a hike and we got wuite a few disdainful looks from the staff and clientele alike. But fuck them, my money is as green as the rest and I want my mother fuckin tandoori chicken and mango lassi

Just made butter chicken and rice for dinner, it was very good

1 lb chicken tikka (marinated & grilled/roasted beforehand)
3 whole tomatoes
1/4 cup cashews
1 tbsp tomato paste
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1 inch ginger, crushed
2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp chili powder (not american spice mix for chili, just pure red chili powder)
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp coriander
1/3 cup cream
3 tbsp butter
1/4 cup fenugreek
Salt obviously

Boil tomatoes & cashews until tender, remove skins, then puree with tomato paste
Heat oil and sautee garlic & ginger for 1 minute
Add spices and sautee for 30 seconds
Add tomato mixture and simmer for 10 minutes
Add chicken & cream and simmer for 5 minutes until sauce is reduced
Add butter and fenugreek and serve

You get the pretty contrast of cream & tomato if you wait until the end to add it, but it thickens better if you simmer it first
