100g is more than most people need. 1 gram per kilogram of body weight is suggested. That is really a stupid rule of thumb, as well, since it should be based on your muscle mass, not your body mass. If you're a 440 lb fatty you don't actually need 200g of protein to maintain muscle mass.

100g of protein isn't even a lot, and yes, for some people, it's too much, but for others, it's not enough.

You should ideally getting your protein sources from several different types of food, not simply meat. Home-made protein powders are also a pretty good idea.

Quark is pretty legit, too. 30g of protein for 250g of it, in the form of only 170 calories!

Yesterday I had a protein shake with two scoops so that's about 50 grams. Threeish servings of black beans close to 24 grams, two cups of milk that's 16, a bunch of peanut butter so probably another 24 grams. So yeah, I get enough. Trying to workout and gain some muscle. Added a pb&j every day since I wasn't gaining weight. Hopefully the extra 500 calories pushes me into a calorie surplus.

I buy top round or eye of sirloin from the grocery store when it's BOGO free. This brings the cost to $3/pound for steak.
I freeze the excess in alright bags. I thaw out to room temperature, wipe off the moisture with paper towel. I spray it in oil, coat it in salt and spices and let it sit for one hour.
Then I oven sear it in a roasting pan at 450f for fifteen minutes, then drop the temp to 325.
Once the internal temp is 140f I pull it out and let it rest covered.
I cut that shit up, put it on homemade bread, and under Wisconsin brick cheese.
