everyone is paying 10% or 15% more for food than we did 3 years ago. it's not the egg that is the problem it's the fact that a lot of people have to prioritize what they buy and things like eggs might not make the list now, which is annoying.

where I am eggs have doubled in price from 2020. $3 a dozen are now $6+. I find that my fortnightly food budget is exhausted in a week or less now, so I've just stopped buying things like beef, eggs, and juice

they're kind of old people wafers but sometimes you see them served with ice cream and whatsuch. they're very delicate layers of wafer with a creamy sugary layers sandwiched between. they're quite nice actually.

Are you talking about the ones you buy that are already hardboiled? Cos i brined mine from og locally family farmed duck eggs starting in november. If you pull one out the brine and break the shell without further cooking, the liquid white pours out but the yolk is solid enough that you can pick it up and wash it over the sink.
