What food is a person supposed to eat when they have their heart broken?

>> No.18904337

Some might say comfort food or your own favorite foods, but combining something you love with a painful feeling or experience carries the risk of you mentally association the two things which means you risk associating the good food you used to like with painful memories and it can ruin your favorite foods for you.

So idk, just eat what you normally eat I guess?

Actually good advice
OP when you feel down I'd go for a walk. At least it gives you space and a sense of progression.

Okay I will go for a walk. I will force myself to eat something later but nothing special

It is important that, when you do eat, it is something that is actually nutritious and filling. You don't want to feel malnourished, starving, or develop health problems from not getting enough nutrients on top of your heartbreak problem.
