I rarely dine out but I had french fries today and they're always so greasy that they make me feel sick afterwards. Can you only eat these if you have Amerifat gut biome?

You mis-spelled "robust and not wimpy".
Jesus, dude.
If fried po-ta-toes are a serious issue, just get in the fucking box and let's move on to burying you today.
Is salt an issue too?
Does black pepper kick your ass?
Would a spoonful of sugar put you in the hospital?
Wow.

Yeah if you don't eat them very often you really notice how bad they are. I think it is the same with most takeout, especially the really bad stuff like mcdonald's.

Fries are particularly bad though - they are deep-fried in seed oils that have been (re)heated to high temps and have been sitting there oxidizing for hours. If you're going to have takeout best to avoid fries altogether. Usually at a restaurant you can replace fries with something like mashed potatoes if you ask. If you're at a burger chain just skip it all together or get a smaller burger as a side.

I'm inclined to agree with you. I didn't eat fast food for 2 years during the pandemic, and going back to the world of drive-througs I really didn't care for the taste.
Ok, so that sounds like it's an acquired taste, like brussles or beer. But then why do little kids like it from day one?
Did fries get a lot worse between 2020 and today?

Steak fries are great, your gay.

>> No.18897942

maybe the fryer wasn't at full temperature, frying to cold makes the food retain grease, or that restaurant is shitty about changing the oil or something

this only happens to me with frozen store bought fries. they get drenched in oil before they're frozen. if the fries look like in the OP they were store bought and frozen.
make your own fries or find a restaurant that isn't too lazy to cut a few potatoes in pieces so they're still fresh and need less oil. they also taste much lighter if you use olive oil but that's pretty expensive obviously

So much this
Instead of a side just get more patties or bacon
It's carbs that make people fat after all

I sharted. Also I eat french fries daily with 3 to 5 cheeseburgers. I don't know if that answers your question at all OP, I don't know what a gut biome is.

Pigs are highly intelligent creatures, few animals are considered more intelligent such as ravens, dolphins, and humans. The rare breeds of rich marble pork like Berkshire pigs are especially intelligent which makes them particularly kind and easy to deal with.

All you retards are missing the biggest fault in french fries as a design: the surface area of the thing being fried. A lot of fries are like 50% grease given the square cube law and how much surface they tend to have to insides. Its not like frying a chicken where the greasy fried outside is complementary to the chicken itself, no, for many fries the potato is simply a vehicle to retain the fried bits. (which sometimes admittedly, you want)

There's nothing moral about divine command theory.
Almost the opposite.
