Chocolate should not be ice cream. Chocolate's place in ice cream is as chocolate sauce on top of vanilla ice cream.

And my favorite flavors of ice cream is vanilla custard. Runner up is maple syrup custard ice cream.

My favorite sherbets and sorbets are rainbow sherbet and raspberry sorbet.

How come there's never raspberry ice cream?

i'm still looking for an icecream that will make me like icecream. i dont dislike icecream, but it's all so similar i dont really differentiate between flavors, it's just icecream to me. i would like to try making my own. i like fruit-and-cream flavors with chunks of fresh fruit in a plain cream, custard or vanilla base.

I've tasted it, it's tricky cause depending on the berries it'll be acidic and bitter, so I guess you have to achieve a balanced supply of non acidic berries first which seems tricky

I tried it in a ice cream shop that is pretty idk how you call it, craft-icecream? aka the dude makes the ice cream there and the ingredients are good quality, etc. By that I mean it is not mass produced industrial ice cream.
I suspect the strawberry ice cream we usually eat has like near 0% legit strawberry flavor
