Tell me again why Americans still eat trash like McDonald's while there so many other choices for burgers? Or even better: Making a burger by themselves since it's so fast and easy to make it?

>> No.18856307

what's faster and easier?

making a burger from scratch, or getting a burger at a fast food place?

I won't defend the quality of mcdonalds but it's not like mcdonalds burgers are terrible. they're just not amazing.

Still there are many other fast food restaurants. Also you prove right the stereotype of Americans being lazy fatasses.

>why Americans still eat trash like McDonald's while there so many other choices for burgers?
If I'm really wanting a burger, there's a local chain I go to whose burgers are much better and less greasy than McDonald's. Otherwise, the only times I end up with McDonald's is if it's close and we're too drunk/stoned to go anywhere further for food.

>Or even better: Making a burger by themselves since it's so fast and easy to make it?
I don't have enough space for a grill, but that's also an option since you can prepare burgers for an entire week with a proper grill.

I don't know what you mean by "like mcdonalds" because I dont know what else is really like mcdonalds. I go there because it's one of the better options

How would you know? You're not American, you don't know the first thing about burgers.
>b-but I've made bu-
You didn't make them right, pleb.

Secondly, McDonalds (and other fast food places) are a special kind of thing. Absolutely nobody compares a McDonalds burger to a burger from their local diner or burger joint. Fast food in general is it's own indulgence, doesn't matter if it's McDonalds, Taco Bell, White Castle, Arbys, etc, fast food is a unique thing. You eat it because it's been scientifically crafted to fire off dopamine, it's calculated junk food of the highest order. You will never, ever at home create food that resembles that from a fast food place. Whether you think that's a good or a bad thing is irrelevant.

I dated a girl and one of her favorite foods was McDonald’s hamburger (not cheeseburger.) She wasn’t a jew or lactose intolerant or on a diet. She would get one McDonald’s hamburger and one apple pie at the drive thru, bring it home and eat that with some salt and vinegar potato chips and a Sparkling Ice orange soda. She was actually a pretty nice girl and not mean or crazy. I probably should have married her :(

No way McDonald's is anywhere near as popular in America as it used to be with the current prices and quality.

I work as a bread vendor, and do the private label for stores like Walmart and Target.
Hamburger buns rarely sell, we sell more to restaurants than what we take into the stores. The only time hamburger buns sell, are during sporting events or holidays in the Summer.
What really sells nowadays even moreso during those holidays are hot dog buns.
Hot dogs sell so much for more than 7 years they've replaced the hamburger bun. This is because women don't know/bother to cook any type of burger anymore. It requires shaping the meat if they don't buy the pre-frozen patties and preparing the bread and condiments.
A hot dog just needs to be heated and drowned in ketchup.
Americans are no longer the hamburger people, they haven't been for years, they're the hot dog people, an even lazier and worse tasting food than hamburgers.
