How do I get an autistic kid to eat vegetables? She needs more fibre inside her so badly...

advice I've heard is that if you don't want to force it then you should eat with your kid and ideally the other parent and discuss what you're eating. e.g. this corn is really good or I really like the squash what did you put in it? brown sugar? oh I like cheese in my squash. etc etc. keep at it and keep an open mind. there is a lot of food out there and not everyone is going to like everything.

She doesn't. The dietary requirement for fiber in the human body is precisely zero. She's smarter than your retarded ass. Feed her beef.

Are you just trying to get her to have more fiber or both fiber and low calorie? If just fiber you may want to check out dates, they have a decent amount of fiber and vitamins, and even though they’re pretty sweet their glycemic index is lower than you’d expect (45 to 55 from what I can tell). Only thing I’d suggest if you want to try them is to cut them up, because to me whole ones look like cockroaches.

You can experiment with different vegetables to see if there's any texture she prefers over others. Or tastes, depending on where you jam it in.

You made a very common rookie mistake. You were supposed to jam it in, so she doesn't get time to react until it's too late. Once she has experienced the pleasure of vegetables inside, she won't be able to resist.

Depending on what kind of autistic she is, explaining to her why the food you're cooking for her is healthy in autistic detail may actually be the way to go.
Just be sure you really know what you're talking about if you're going to go down that road. Your authority is on the line.

depends how much of a little shit she is. All food tastes good if you are tired enough, you could try overloading her body by taking her on some crazy hiking/bike/beach trip and then being like 'oh no, the only food i brought was vegetables lmaoooo'

if you dont have the balls to be mean like that, you could slowly introduce the food she doesnt like in hidden/creative ways. Throw finely cut veg into a soup or stew, mix it into a gravy.

>but she finds out and doesnt like

be smarter than a child. use foodcoloring. use seasoning/sugar/whatever. lie to her when she asks. Yeah, you dont want to break her fragile little heart and betray her trust but if shes too stupid to live and is legit retarded, do it.

If shes actually brain damaged then try the old grandma aproach: start putting fiber into smoothies and other forms of junkfood and trick into consuming chemical slop to save her miserable life.

>>18813444
>You sure? She hasn't had a poop in almost 3 days.

sometimes children hold their poop if they feel like they have no other control over their lives. maybe shes miserable and is just acting out. Its hard to say with just random information on a mongolian basket weaving forum tho.

If nothing works then your whole family needs to change their diet and you need to strictly control what she has access to. Basically give her no choice and drag the entire family along to eat the stuff she wont eat but needs to. Its kinda like dieting: its easier to do if you have other people to suffer through it with you. Dont give her snacks or let her hang out with other people who might feed her. After about 2-3 weeks of eating what she hates, her body will adapt and start to like it. Its easy to say 'oh no she will starve to death' but the human body literally has a biological function to prevent that, which are your taste buds. The taste buds acclimate to whatever is chronically consumed. Understand that and force a habit change.

my brother is pretty autistic and has horrible eating habbits but thats literally how we got him to try more foods, me being the big brother hed actually try it, you just need to ease them into it with someone they look up to or suggest that they could try it if they want to and that if they say no then you do very light encouragement and eat it yourself saying how nice it is
