The only time you MIGHT see peas inside would be if it was a very low budget frozen meat pie as a way of filling in for a lack of meat. Gravy IS generally inside a minced pie or a creamy sauce if it was chicken and mushroom. You just add additional gravy to any pie that is served warm, especially when it is cold weather as it makes it a more warming meal
