1. How many calories a day?
2. In your country, can you purchase that number x 7, for $25
3. Can you supplement with free meals? (Churches, timeshare sales pitches, soup kitchens, birthday app deals at neo-franchises or introductory offers)

ive been thinking about going to the food bank but my area is super populated with homeless and feel its not right to take a meal from them. might be stupid logic tho because i need food man.

Lentils and rice combined are a complete protein, $50 CAD can buy a fuckload, pasta is a meme if you can buy flour. You can learn to forage local weeds, you can steal fruit from neighbours, protein shakes from gyms, if you get into an office building or a backroom, you can steal lunches from fridges or communal snacks. You can steal pies off the window sills of milfs. You can trap birds, you can snare small game, you can fish

12$ - Maruchan ramen = 36 ramen packs (get 3 different seasoning packet flavors if possible)
20$ - Eggs = 72 eggs, 1 for each ramen & 1 egg per breakfast minimum
10$ - Potatoes = 10 lbs
8$ - Veggies = 96 oz, can get a variety to mix up in the ramen dinner

That shouldn't exceed $50, though I'm admittedly thinking in terms of burgerbucks. You should hopefully have some wiggle room for some cheap meat, probably some kind of sausage or burger. And some cheese would be a great addition if you can get it cheap. Hopefully you have some spices around, but just salt and pepper will generally get you by.

2 weeks, 50$.
That's 3,5$ a day. Not super easy, but doable all things considered.
Your base calories will be potatoes, white bread (if reduced in price even better), and either rice or pasta.
For protein, use dried beans, lentins, flour (for seitan), maybe eggs or canned fish if they are decently priced and meat only if it's reduced in price. Some stores will have food 50% off if it's the day the best before date happens, so meats like that can be an option.
Get seasonal veggies to fill it up a bit and maybe condiments depending on the price.

For example (prices in euro)
Morning:
200g Oats, with water and maybe some sugar or jam. 844 kcals - 0,28€
Midday:
500g Oven baked potatoes, with garlic vegetable stir fry and 250g seitan chicken (normal chicken if cheaper obviously) 1,90€ - 880 kcals
Dinner:
Bread with herring or eggs and some sauce. 0,65€ - 200 kcals

That's 2,83€ a day, for 1924 kcals (without any oil), and around 153g of protein.
So you have 67cts over, which you should use for cheap kcals, for example that buys you 500g of oats, which is another 68 g of protein and another 1860 kcals.
All of this doesn't take sales into account, or buying at cheap stores (minority supermarkets tend to be cheaper).
Also if you want to really save money, buy dried stuff (dried beans and lentils mostly) at minority supermarkets and you will be able to get to similar macros for substantially cheaper. You can get red lentils for 2€/kg, that's 3410 kcals and 250g of protein for 2€ right there.

Go to a food pantry and see what they have to offer before you spend money at the grocery store. When you do go shopping go somewhere with self checkout and just steal the more expensive items like meat. Obviously don't get convenient foods (don't buy canned beans if you can get dry, etc) because it's a waste of money.

>>18583098
You have an actual need, so just go. From my experience it will be mostly canned tins of chicken or tuna, beans and peanut butter but it all helps. If you find yourself struggling every month you might qualify for food stamps but you have to net 20 work hours weekly as a student to keep it.
