made some ghost pepper hot sauce after fermenting ingredients for three months. tried some and it's just ridiculously hot and now I'm wondering why I did it. I guess I'll just gift it to people I hate. Also fermentation thread

Not applicable, since OP is openly admitting to it being hotter than he likes, and especially since OP made it himself (instead of COOOOLLECTING).

No need to ditch it, just use small amounts when you're making big pots of stew, sloppa, etc.

How many ghost pepper did you use. I fermented half a ghost pepper and four sweet peppers recently. It was the first time I tried fermenting and just used a cheesecloth on the jar. I started getting a lot of yeast build up around two weeks, maybe from using tap.water to top it off. It turned out good anyways and it's hot but not too hot.
