I am starting a new job next week at a pharmaceutical company. As per orientation I have to travel to some small Midwestern town and stay there for 2 weeks in a hotel. There aren't many fast food options there. What can I realistically cook in a hotel room if I have access to a coffee maker and iron?

May as well bring a portable hot plate

Honestly ramen noodles and sandwiches is what you'll be looking at if you don't bring a hot plate.

If it's only 2 weeks try to make a week's worth of meals and bring them with you

How about you just go out to eat and don't get extremely expensive things? Better yet, build a rapport with the town by dining at a local restaurant. It helps the local economy and you don't have to eat like a poor college student.
Doing the shit in pic related doesn't get your promotions, it's makes you the one who is always left out.

For less than the cost of a Big Mac, fries and a Coke, you can buy a loaf of fresh bread and some good cheese or roast beef, which you will enjoy much more.

Will they let you expense an Airbnb? That’s what I did when I had to travel for work, because I wanted to have a kitchen.

Move to the 21st century and you'll get a microwave (but probably lose the iron).
Have you even been in a hotel since the Carter administration?

/trv/ here.
refund your booking and stay in a hostel instead.
a private room with a king-sized bed in a hostel will be just as nice as a hotel except half the price, plus you'll have a kitchen to cook your own food in, laundry facilities and a lounge/bar to pick up big tiddie german backpacker sluts in
