That said I think they're sliding on ingredients again, the bread is noticeably less good then before, it also has less of that garlic salt shit on the crust. Last 2 weeks there was some weird Pizza War shit going on where Papa Murphy's was 40% off, Pizza Hut was 30% and Dominos decided to go all out chad and do 50%. Then they decided to double down and do another 50% coupon that expires on the 28th.

So fuck yeah I'm getting Dominos tomorrow, I'm going to try their Hawaiian pizza but replace the pizza sauce with bbq instead and see what kind of monster that creates.

Wrong, it is a small dough patty stretched into a large.
Also it gets half provolone half pizza cheese (mozz/prov mix) instead of just pizza cheese.
It also does not get garlic oil around the crust (unless requested) and it is cut into 6 instead of 8 slices for large "New York Style" floppy slices. It tends to pool more grease on top due to the provolone. It's my favorite crust and only comes in large or extra large if that franchise has XL, which is optional.

Domino's has done the 50% pizza deal for many many years, they just stopped during Covid because of lack of staff. They are "Boost Weeks" which are supposed to create new customers long term while taking a hit to costs short term. And they work, that's why corporate makes us do them. And it is hell as anyone who has ever worked there can tell you. They are always understaffed for the sales, even during the best of circumstances.
Also it is 50% off full menu price (which is ridiculous, like $16 for a large pepperoni pizza with no coupons), so you aren't actually getting 50% off what a non retard would order. More like 25-40%, depending on what you get. Also it's only pizzas

I used to be anti-Domino's. Then a place I work at brought some in for a party, and it became my go-to chain pizza. Pizza Hut is way too greasy and heavy (though arguably highest quality), Little Caesar's is cardboard, and Papa's sauce tastes awful. Domino's is as close as it gets to a perfectly normal chain pizza anyone can be satisfied with.
