I had frozen chicken which expiration date was 12th, it's 21th now. I kept it frozen and unfroze it yesterday, I plan to fry it today. It is safe? Or will I die?

Hopefully the chicken is good. You make it and enjoy your meal. Then you decide to go outside (shocker, I know) and take a walk. During that walk a car jumps the curb and hits you. You die a violent and painful death. That's what I hop kills you.

Really anything in a freezer if its kept frozen isnt gonna go bad on you. I got shit in my deep freezer years old and i can just take out and cook. At most if the meat was shit quality before you froze it it might get texture when you finally cook it.

If meat is frozen, bacteria won’t grow and cause it to go bad. However if frozen for too long, it might get freezer burnt and lose a lot of moisture which will make it taste like shit. It’ll still be safe to eat tho. One week should be just fine
