Idk about armpits but in Southeast Asia (specifically Malaysia and maybe Indonesia), there's a thing called Nasi Kankang, which literally translates to 'squatting rice'.

Basically its considered a type of black magic where a woman who wants to get a man to fall in love with her would squat naked over freshly cooked rice. Actually was my step-grandma, my granddad was already married at the time.
