Cracker Barrel is releasing Impossible sausage in their restaurants. The world is healing

>> No.18199942

I wonder how it will do. As far as it goes, things like breakfast sausages make sense for meat substitutes. The spices can help cover up the off flavor of it.

The fake sausages are bar far the best tasting. Chicken seems to be the hardest to get right except chicken nuggets.

I wonder just how many families have vegan children, or if this is somehow a health food. Which is it,some kind of high protein low fat sausage or is it just manufacturered slop.

Years ago, I used to buy the morningstar microwave corn dogs, just for the convenience. They were low cal and ready in 1 minute. I adore mustard.

The closer you are to eating the meat straight, the worse the beyond meats do. It's another reason I don't really care for them, as I don't see the point. I kind of like old veggie burgers and they're distinct.
But, I'm not vegetarian.

Beyond and Impossible seem to be relying a lot on promotional partnerships and novelty. I have no doubt they've probably acquired a core consumer base by now, but their diminishing sales growth seems to indicate they've peaked and aren't getting any more popular.

That's why I liked Morningstar best. Their black bean burger thing was not bad. It's really its own thing and they own it.
Beyond stuff often attempts to imitate the original thing too closely, and sometimes that can be weird. I think there's often more of a mental alarm for a food being slightly off then entirely different. Maybe an animal instinct towards spoilage.

This anon speaks the truth.
I previously worked as a chef for a restaurant back in 2019-20 before the China Flu hit. The number of times that someone in a suit came in to push replacement meat was insane. They would comment about how our restaurant could be the first in our area to replace all of our real meat with their substitute. One guy even said he could sell us the beyond substitute for half of what our actual meat purchases cost.

Like I said, they rely heavily on promotions with established restaurants and the people who want to try "NEW THING". I'll admit, I'm in that boat and a sucker for garbage; I've tried a few of these purely just because of curiosity. Most of them have been underwhelming and I've seen a lot of them get pulled from menus in the end. The companies probably get a core consumer base that actually enjoyed the thing, plus a few partner companies who decide the numbers worked out in the end and want to keep it as a menu item.
Hell, I tried the worst of the worst of promotional failures from Beyond Meat: the Tim Hortons burger. Nobody expected a burger from a donut shop to be any good, but this flopped massively hard. The one I had was a weird flavourless mess drenched in sauce on a stale bun. It got pulled pretty fast.
Apparently A&W and Burger King have found these products work on their menus, though McDonalds dropped their McPlant.

No, cattle isn't worse for the envoirement. That only gets concluded by retards and ideologes which us long shown to be nothing bt propaganda water use studies as well as implying that cattle have to be raised on grains and corn instead of fucking grass, like you know, they are supposed to consume in the first place. And lets not forget that letting cows grase improves soil quality and biodiversity due to their hoves airing the soil and dung being the perfect fertilizer. For sustainable aggrculture such animals are essential. You can't sustainably grow plants without big herbivores, which you ideally use for meat in the end as well as dairy in the process. ame goes for chickens and swine. Plus if you let chickens just roam freely between you cows they will pick up worms, pests and flies from the maneur which massively improves their health and therefore their egg quantity and well as quality.

This is the way to eat insects. You first feed them to chickens. The only reason the elites don't want that is that every fucking inreed hick can feed himself that way, which doesn't make their megacorps any money. It is much more in their interest to forbid privat food production and make people dependant in synthetic shit and pills to survive a deficient sloppa diet. All that while they will absolutely eat their prime beef, handmade nuggies and let their kids grow tall and smart on dairy. Because lets not forget that meat ad dairy are the main drivers of bigger brains and higher body height. Add rich amounts of fatty fish for extra Omega 3s and brain power and you're golden.

On the whole planet, including the wild ones in india which do not get eaten, only 1,5 billion cows exist you absolute retard. Considering we nearly have no other big wildlife (let alon megafauna) anymore this is absolutely sustainable. Plus the equivalent of 75 million of those cows gets thrown away anually. A problem which could be solved through small farms which don't overproduce and only buther when the meat is already sold.

You fucking grainbrains truly are braindead.

>> No.18202842

And and 306 million of those 1500 million worldwide come from india alone. Somehow a relatively small shithole can sustain such amounts of cows without even consuming them, meaning they live side by side in the wild on grass alone without a problem. And its not even like india is sparcely populated or has THAT mch unused grasslands compared to the US or fucking the russian steppes. Depending on the envoirement you can also exchange cows for otehr pastoral animals like goats, which now can graz on fucking mountains otehrwise useless for human consumption.

But no, surely exporting south american corn and soysloppa around the world is much more sustainable and envoirementally friendly. Surely its not just a handfull of international Nestle sytel subhuman cooprations shilling this shit to make away with sverign food productions.

You stupid negro should be able to fucking google the numbers if you question my calculations. Just fucking ask your retarded Alexa spy system how many cows live in India or whatever. You're here on 4chan. We do not spoonfeed lazy retards.

We are living in a closed system, first it matter what kind of matter where gets used. Are we nding to import rain water to subsahara for beef production? No. We use ground water in already moist nvoirements for the most part. What we use in rain water, simply circles through a fucking cow and gets pissed out a couple meters away, running its natural water path. Yet all those calculations do is act like a cow suddenly shoots 15000L of water into space or makes it otherwise unusable for the planet, because a larger number sounds shocking.

And dont even get me started on the fact that most mat alternatives get grown on burned down fucking rain forrests in massve moocultures, not only fucking driving actual willife into extinction but also ruining the soil due to synthetic fertilisers and unsustainable aggriculture.

There is so mcuh fucking wrong with what you retards claim yet you somehow think that changing permaculture and sustanable lifestock and agricultre symbiosis done for millenia in favour for megacorps to farm fucking monocultures of sub par nutrient output is superiour and more envoirementally friendly.

It's basically appealing to the feminazed brains of single mother kids which think the state will provide them with what they need as long as they keep bootlicking. News flash: You are one of the useless eaters which will get "humanely" done away with or at best used once suffiencently unable to change your faith.

It's like how they brought in Alcohol a few years ago. Nobody liked it, nobody really orders it, and they only serve beers in a can, not even on draft. It's almost insulting. If you wanna eat vegetables, eat vegetables, if you wanna eat meat, eat meat. Also you can buy the OG CB Sausage from Purnell's, it's their "Smokehouse Sausage", they're the suppliers for CB. Give them a boost instead of buying the petri-dish Klaus Schwab approved great reset sausage.

We live in America where the dollar is king my guy. It's literally easier for people to imagine the end of society vs the end of Capitalism. Guess what meat is? Fucking profitable.

I WISH we actually lived in the "Muh progressive democrats are gonna take away muh steak and legalize the gays" or whatever world your brain exists but come on dude.

This. Retards which still thing that voting with ones wallet works simply don't know that in the background there is someone with such a big wallet they can basically buy whole countries. With that kind of money ideology is all that matters as they now can feel like Gods, social engineering the world to their tastes.

Okay QAnon, explain why they would do that? Where's the profit in it? People and companies with billions of dollars got there by giving a fuck about making money. They go where the money goes. They don't try to change culture to some woke agenda, they try to capitalize on it when a woke agenda has some money they can make.
Some pencil-pusher at Cracker Barrel Corporate probably realized that a bunch of their customers are geriatrics dying of heart disease and their doctors told them to switch. Have you ever eaten at a Cracker Barrel? It caters to fucking old people. They have large-print menus on demand, for fuck's sake. The people spending money at Cracker Barrel are notoriously anti-woke, and the bean-counters know it. Their customers are already a triple bypass in and one fried pork chop away from dying in the booth, so they came up with options.
And fuck Cracker Barrel anyway, they're the shittiest of the "southern" restaurant chains. They force you through that stupid gift shop full of drooling cretins, they only play the most sterile, soulless, limp-dicked approximation of actual country music, then they force you back through that god awful gift shop to pay your bill. The last time I ate there, I had the most tasteless bowl of chicken & dumplings I've ever eaten. Fuck Cracker Barrel.

Imagine you have as much wealth as multiple well off countries. You have it all. What else is there for you in this life if not designing a world to your taste? Till very recently the wealth divide was so stark, the uper classes could live without seing poor people thei whole lifes. Nowadays those pesky new money people can buy the same luxuries and claim to be on the same level.

Cooperations like Vanguard and Blackrock are their distributors. WEF is their think tank. The great reset is nothing more than the prevention of upward mobility by doing away with personal wealth and inheritances for normies, which means debt slavery for ever due to digital currencies and no way of saing your hard earned money. Race riots and forced multicultural enrichment is there to fuck og cultural ingroup trust, souveranity and cooperation outside of the states influence (self sufficiency). The pushing of veganism fullfills two essential rolls: First of it diminishes physical and intellectual abilities of resistance after a new generation has been raised on it through pregnancy, as studies already show and it frees up land for the elites, as most of those synthetical foods ar cheap and can be made indoors, even underground. The push for living in metropolies and taking away the infrastructure for rural living and income are also intervined, as the goal is to free the and of plebs. A side effect of living like sardines is also that human life diminishes in value for the humans exposed to it. Which results in more requests for stat intervention to revent violent crimes, less posibilities for resistance and an easier time for dystopian economic euthanasia once you have ceased being a profitable unit.

I do understand that it sounds like schizo rambling to those completely unfamilar with those topics, but it is what it is. Do with the information what you want. Such ideologies don't just manifest from thin air, fren.
