yeah. few years ago I had just got my tax refund and it was a lot more than expected, went down to the beach and got hammered. walked around the pier, got denied entry at one bar, walked down the street and got let in to another one with free chips and salsa. good times. I don't really go out to bars anymore, too expensive

we had an after work party at the kona grill. we racked up a $300+ bill and a couple of people got a little belligerent. when my boss asked for another double shot of cuervo 1800 the waitress told him they were out. so when it came time to pay the bill they only tipped about $12.

I had to go find the waitress and give her a $50. I found her crying in the back. she didn't want to cut us off but her boss made her.

my boss then got "lost" with a co worker looking for their cars.

This same exact thing happened to me my first time getting sloshed and blacking out. I somehow found my way outside(no idea how,) and realized I needed to get back in and find my friends so we could bounce. I then blacked out talking to the bouncers, but was aware enough to slur an "okay fine," before walking away and waking up in my friend's truck.

Back in my mid-20s, I was dating a 21-year-old girl who loved to drink heavily.
We went out to a bar to celebrate my landing of a new job. The only thing I remember was how one of the bartenders pulled me aside as my girlfriend and I had hit a $300 bill. Mostly generated by her beverage choices. She was so shit-faced that she couldn't walk properly outside to smoke and ended up lighting her shirt sleeve on fire.

When I did car repos our company Christmas party was at Dave and busters, we had a private room with food and drink service and all that. I went out to play some arcade games and tried to get a beer at the bar but bartender wouldn't serve me because my id was expired (I was carrying an old one because my current one had been stolen) so I had to go back to the private room to get a beer.

Slightly unrelated but I got 'cut off' at a rest stop by West Virginia. And not alcohol...

Swear on mum kind of deal and if 'everybody knows it works that way' then I am out of the loop. I stopped to pee and got a Monster from a vending machine. I hopped back onto the road until I reached another rest stop sometime later. Time to pee again. I decided to get another monster for a breakfast of sorts the next morning at the motel I'd be staying at. But I got this message.

I freak out thinking somebody got my account info but everything is fine when I check it. That's when it dons on me: Motherfuckers have these machines set up and networked not to dispense two or more of these energy drinks to the same cardholder on the network. They digitally 'cut you off' if you try. That's some fucking britbong 'Oi, you gotta Monster loiscense?!' kind of shit. I wasn't gonna drink two back to back you retards!

In fact I probably set some sort of “cut off” record, because I was cut off at a bar on Bourbon St. in New Orleans on the night of fucking Mardi Gras.
To be fair, I don’t remember the circumstance. I had been drinking all day, and went to a bar to drink more, and suddenly there was a parade, and when I placed another order at the bar I was told “no, you already passed out”.
Which I guess explained why I was chilling at the bar late afternoon and there was suddenly the nighttime “carnival”.
The next day, it was funny when I told the story to an old black local dude at the office I had been been contracted to for a couple months.
He said
