All those Grub Eats and Uberdashes are really fuckin' bullshit. You know, you could always have called up a cab driver and offered to pay them way more money that it should cost to have him pick up food and deliver it to you? Its the same shit that you've always been able to do, with an app.

None of that shit is the same as in-house delivery services. I'm barely willing to have a uniformed dominos employee transport food that I plan on eating, theres no way I'm going to pay the upcharge for some filth uber driver to put his hands all over my foods and taint it with whatever lurks inside their uninspected private vehicles.

You're an idiot. A random taxi takes an hour or more, isn't reliable, charges way more, and would require talking to the driver on the phone and meeting him in person to even have a chance at doing that.
Uber on the other hand is famous for undercutting its drivers so you get cheaper rates, and since the meme flu hysteria it gives you the option to select no contact delivery. You get your food from whatever place around you that you want since nowadays they all work with UE including every fast food chain and all the local diners and restaurants, and most of them I've used result in my delivery sitting by my front door in about 15 to 20 minutes after I order it. And I don't see anyone, nor do I even talk to anyone on the phone, with it all just going through a button press. You use google pay if you're on an android and you don't even deal with your card or bank account details. It's better in every possible way and a miracle of the mass insanity the world went through over that rebranded common cold.
