How do you do this shit?

>> No.18110145

Which step did you fuck up, the stir or the fry

>> No.18110148

>>18110145
Both I guess
I used beetroot and everything became purple in the process and I couldn't tell at all whether or not anything was cooked. My chicken especially was all raw
Also my frozen spinach just stayed in block form

Have you tried not stir-frying on high heat but medium low heat instead?

What do you mean by not stir frying?

>"Stir frying" in medium low heat
That's retarded.
You use high heat with oil that can take it and cut everything is sizes that will be able to finish cooking in that oil within a minute.

learn to cook
Beets impart their colour on everything, but that shouldn't stop you from gauging the texture of meat by poking them
Defrost your vegetables like a non-retard before tossing it in the pan/wok
Add the ingredients in order of their cooking time so you don't overcook or undercook anything

Conversely, try praying to Anansi for some common sense, since you appear devoid of any

He threw frozen food into a wok. There is no helping him lmfao

>> No.18110483

>>18110166
You want to velvet or just poach the ingredients before stir frying instead of using the wok as a weirdly shaped skillet for sauteing

it could be worse. i somehow ended up burning some green peas and undercooking other pieces of peas at the same time

That's the healthiest/fastest/least pathogens way to defrost food. Nothing wrong with that, apart from using frozen food and the oil splattering everywhere.

and, of course, it not cooking evenly

he complained that his chicken was still raw
dumbfuck didnt just throw in frozen vegetables, he didnt even heat it long enough to melt and cook the ingredients
when you add water or ice to a pan, you drop the temperature of the whole system

You do this by frying this stuff separate cause they are different sensitive to heat. Zucchini and shrooms are very sensitive. Corn and carrots wont fry at all if you don cook it first.

You can fry zucchini and shrooms together if you care. You can boil the carrots and the beans together if you care. And you can stew the broccoli and the corn. They still need more heat after stewing and cooking.

>> No.18110831

>>18110822
No sorry don't "boild" the carrots and been. You can stew them harder, you know in between stewing and cooking. But if you cook them they are gone.

>>18110822
>>18110831
this is so nice that you now don't need to do everything separate. np

>>18110822
You can also put in the stuff that needs more cooking (like onion, celery) first, and stuff that needs less cooking (like bok choi or green onions) towards the end.

High heat
Canola oil
Cook in batches
Add everything back in and then stir through the sauce.
