I'm hypoglycemic and crave peanut butter always. I eat a heaping spoonful of it ever now and then.
You already mentioned apple slices & bananas with it, which are my favorites, but celery & raisins are good with it too. I prefer craisins though.
One of my favorite meals is shredded chicken, with chunky peanut butter mixed with sriracha to make a ghetto thai sauce.
God DAMN can I shovel that down my throat.

Also fun fact, it wasn't John Carver Washington or whatever his name was who invented peanut butter. It, as always, was some white guy.
I'm very thankful for his invention.

Dude, my grandpa was into pickle, cheddar & peanut butter sandwiches, and that shit is just too bizarre even for me. And this is coming from a guy that likes a slice of sharp cheddar with his apple pie.

don't eat peanut butter. like, only eat one serving a day, at most.
it is very high in fat, and the fat will cause inflammation. an easy way to tell is if your joints become sore, like your knuckles on your fingers, or your wrist. inflammation settles there.
