How the fuck do you make this stuff get krizzphy?

>> No.18039955

Bake at 350f or 18min on a wire rack. The residual heat will finish the cooking. Once cooled, fry in a pan to crisp them up. It's essentially a 2 step process.

the more you fry it, the crispier it gets but don't let it dry out from the oil because it will burn

if you save up the bacon grease you can eventually deep fry your bacon for perfect consistency, but reheating any fat repeatedly will become unhealthy

This is the easy way to do it, and my favorite. But if you want to do on the stove top then just make sure it gets cooked evenly for crisp all around. Every time I can recall eating floppy, chunks of unrendered fat bacon it was made by some woman who didn't give a shit about cooking properly

This has to be the dumbest way of cooking bacon I've ever heard. The entire point of doing it in the oven is that you're doing a large amount that would take multiple batches in a pan. You also don't want to put it on a rack because then it wont get fried in it's own fat, which is why you have to fry it again in a pan like a complete retard. Literally nobody does this and it blows my mind that people here repeat such obviously stupid cooking advice for such basic shit.

While we're still on the topic, my wire rack method is best

>> No.18040396

I use a method that I admittedly pilfered from a youtube recipe, where you submerge the bacon in slightly shallow water, which helps to render some of the fat out, which results in it cooking more evenly.

fry for a long time until all its water evaporates and it goes brown
if you get the type that doesn't produce much oil, then you can't, it's garbage. buy the type with lots of fat in it

Either fry for longer or roast it in the oven on tinfoil
