if i mix soy sauce, mirin, and rice vinegar to make a simple teriyaki sauce will that mixture keep in the fridge for the same time as they each individually would? i want to make a big batch to save time while cooking. i assume you can but for some reason im too retarded to figure it out

You need molasses or brown sugar to sweeten it, but yes. That’s basically all store bought teriyaki would be- those things mixed together in a bottle.

I figured it out. Make fermented honey garlic and use that to both sweeten and enhance the sauce with garlicky goodness.
