In ten years people are going to be nostlalgic for an age where everything was infused with flamin' hot and/or sour patch kids. They'll be saying the decline of both signifies a loss of soul or authenticity. People are interesting. I'm turning 70 next year and have been watching the way they behave since I was out of school. It's obvious to me that nothing really matters, and the final myth for me to unravel is how this still isn't the core lesson everyone learns from history.
