Does it need to cool down to room temperature first? I heard if you put it into a freezer the instant it'a done, then there will be an unfreezed core that will rot.

Butthe question is, is there a faster way to cool it down besides letting it sit somewhere in the kitchen for hours or even days?

Just cold cook bro.

just leave it sitting out an hour then pop it in - or then put it in the fridge first for 1-2 hours if you want to freeze a really big thing like a casserole

buy a blast chiller

Part of it is that they try not to make it a trend because then you get retards spamming boards in hopes of getting "le epic redtext".

the only thing that will happen when putting something hot in the freezer is that the hot thing will cool faster than the fridge or ambient temperature, and you will warm up your freezer slightly. for most freezers, you would need something very large and very hot for that to matter, in terms of letting other freezer items thaw slightly. theres nothing special about the core or any other part of any food cooling at room temperature or below room temperature
