ok so I made a thread yesterday basically shitting on the concept of a Shandy/ Radler, so since I drink both a lot of beer and a lot of low-cal Sprite, I tought I should actually try and combine it and holy shit, it's actually quite good. Needs a bit more added lemon juice and maybe zest, but you can't taste "beer" in it at all, if anything the malt/ hops enrich the flavor. Very refreshing. 50/50mix.

OP, haven't noticed it but I switched to sprite long time ago after a whole chidhood of drinking coke. back then it was full-sugar, now it's like 9g sugar and it's probably the best soda you can buy here imo. second for me is the new Coke Zero since they actually made it taste like coke and not just cinnamon sludge, and also because nostalgia.

If they removed all sugar from Sprite and added caffeine, maybe added a bit of real lemon, it would be the superior beverage.
