Going to SF for a wedding in a month or so. Any places in the city or nearby that I should eat at? We will also be going up to petaluma and the Muir woods so might drive out to Napa for a day.

Nopa is one of my favorite restaurants in all of SF. Go 15 mins before dinner service and you'll get a spot at the bar or communal table. One of the best burgers, but I like getting 3ish appetizers per person.

Nopalito is their sister restaurant and they have very delicious mexican food. More refined than the classic taquerias.

Taqueria cancun, el farrolito, and la taqueria make superb burritos

Hot sauce and panko for really good chicken wings.

There's a lot of excellent coffee shops around the city.

There's a cool bar at the top of a skyscraper downtown that has an amazing view. I forget the name but you should be able to search for it.

There's a very delicious, authentic, and cheap banh mi place in the tenderloin. Forget name, but it's fairly famous.

Khan toke if you want great thai food and cool ambiance.

Hong kong lounge has upscale chinese, but if you're white the service kinda sucks lol.

Loads of great restaurants

Grew up in sf, moved to petaluma.

Lagunitas is fun if you're in Petaluma.

Fishermans Wharf has some good seafood places. I had really good chinese food in SF but I cant remember the name. The walls had pictures of famous people that ate there. If you want a sundae, Ghitadelli is full of tourists but it is good

Imagine going to San Fran, even for a wedding. Tell them to get married somewhere else.

Showdogs in SF was incredible but apparently it's closed down. High chance you would die getting to it though.

My parents had their wedding in the conservatory of flowers in golden gate park. Pretty dope spot imo. It was like 30+ years ago, so a much less degenerate place than now.

That shit was awesome holy hell.

Did someone say hotdogs? I love hotdogs. Lets all talk about hotdogs. Which hotdog would you eat?

SF:

Tartine Bakery - some of the best bread and pastries you'll ever eat. You can grab some bread from there, and some cheese and cured meat at Bi-Rite market which is next door then head over to dolores park to chill and eat.

Dragon Beaux - best high-end dim sum in the city, really recommend if you want an amazing meal and trying to impress.

PPQ Dungeness Crab - Vietnamese garlic crab and garlic noodles. If you love crab, it's the place to go.

Hog Island Oyster - It overlooks the bay, and you won't find fresher oysters in the whole city. You can sit outside or inside.

Tony's Pizza Napoletana - as good as any new york pizza, also they make giant meatballs stuffed with burrata which is great. It's right in Little Italy, so you can walk around then have a great meal there.

There's a million other places, but those are some of the best of the best. If you get suckered into going to Fisherman's Warf like every other tourist then go to Crab House at Pier 39 and get one of the iron skillets. Burritos are overrated, but if you want that experience the previous anon listed the top spots.

Petaluma:
Della Fattoria and Lagunitas Brewery are the top places, it's a cute little walking town. Not really high energy though, just nice.

If you're going to Napa for a day then go to Yountville. Highest amount of Michelin Stars per capita in the US. Eat at any restaurant in the whole town and you will not be disappointed
