What vegetables have you been eating?

This week I've had cucumber, zuchini, cabbage, endive, watercress, arugola, bean sprouts, carrots, chili peppers and sauerkraut.

Big red beets are neat. I got a huge one and pan fried big slices for a while, adding a little mirin (sweet cooking alcohol), then just ate it like a that. But they're not in season now.

Had instant couscous today for the first time in like ten years, added asparagus and tomatoes.

Also here's a pic from a few months ago. I thought it looked pretty.
