If you reheat fries on the stove they come out pretty crispy. You don't need to put oil in the pan or anything, there's enough in the fries. No more throwing away fries! :)

He's talking about food on the food and cooking board, annoying niglet. Did OP melt your brain by saying something without putting blocks your path or whatever at the end of it? Or did you scurry away back to your dumb little niggardly chanspeak copypaste fast food threads? I can't wait to see your blown up face after someone gets sick of your shit and curbstomps you like the little brown cockroach you are

Based and airfyerpilled. It truly is like a better microwave/convection oven, I found that pizza is almost better than freshly made when heated in my air fryer

No trolling, honest answer please:
Is the only difference between an air fryer and convection oven, other than dimensions, that the air fryer has a wire mesh basket so air can go around the whole thing?

Do you cover them with foil to trap heat in?
I do that with next day pizza, reheat it in a frying pan with no oil with a piece of aluminum foil pressed over the top of the piece
The pizza gets perfectly reheated and the bottom of the crust gets crisp enough to make an audible crunching noise like a cracker when you bite into it

That makes sense. I always reheat pizza with a little oil in the pan, covered with tin foil.

You don't need the oil, not even a tiny bit of the spray can variety, the crust has enough oil to work if you keep an eye on it
Pro tip: get the pan hot, press the foil down around the edges of the slice so it is very close to the pizza all around to trap the heat, and wait for the pizza to get quiet then immediately plate it

I think it gets air so hot and dry quickly that the outside becomes very crispy and the moisture on the inside is kind of seared shut. One could say it delivers more of a seared bite compared to the actual oven.

Good call.
Ideally you'll do it in butter, then grate some type of aged cheese and apply freshly cracked pepper once it's off the fire.
Let it all meld together covered for 3 minutes and voila.
Breakfast/dinner.

So I have the Kalorik 26qt fryer, it has an air fry and an oven feature. The air fry seems to heat things similar to a toaster over but much much quicker and always gives it a nice crispy consistency depending on how high or low I slot the tray or basket so I use it for things like fries, chicken, and rehating leftover pizza. The oven feature is basically a convection oven but also heats to very quickly, I don't use the oven feature much but it's nice for roasting a small amount of vegetables, toasting bread, ir making a frozen pizza because the air fry tends to over cook certain things
