I lived in Dallas for 2 years. What I learned, the best thing at Whataburger is to go during breakfast and ask for a plain justaburger with egg and grilled onions. Comes out to like less than $2. Ask for it plain or else they'll put pickles and mustard which kind of ruin the egg

I'll take a greasy drippin' patty melt, add pickles. small fry small onion ring and a sprite. sometimes if I'm feeling extra greasy I'll get 2x patty melts and a large fry and large onion ring and take it home, then get drunk and eventually I remember I have the food so I throw it in the microwave/airfryer and I can eat every bit of it.
