Why don't you reheat food in the oven instead of the microwave?

Food reheated in the microwave is ruined, especially chicken, it tastes really bad. Reheated in the oven it tastes normal, almost as good as when it was freshly cooked.

Because I'm not a retard who doesn't know how to use a microwave. Do you just crank your oven up to the hottest temperature and throw your food in it for an arbitrary amount of time? That's what you're doing with your microwave if your food is turning out garbage.

>Heat in oven
40 min * 5 kW * 15 c/kWh = 45c
>Heat in microwave
2 min * 1 kW * 15 c/5wH = 0.5c

2 meals a day * 40 c * 365 days = $328.50 per year savings, or an extra 6 and a half bucks to spend on food each week instead of heating it up.

Yes, I also cook as much as possible in the microwave too.
