jalapenos can be pretty hot depending on how they're grown

why do hwites always have something to prove when it comes to spicy food? a chile can be good even if it's not 17 million scoville units

Grow them. I had luck as a complete noob growing brazilian ghost red peppers. A lot of the superhot varietals are difficult to grow.

Coming in at roughly 1 million scovilles. I got absolutely btfo when I ate a whole one on an empty without realizing how spicy they were.

At some whole foods you can get lucky and find carolina reapers or ghost peppers sold by the brand melissas.

for the last 2 years supermarket jalapeños have been devoid of heat. literally zero. if I wanted to eat a bell pepper I'd buy a bell pepper.

pretty much, the hottest thing we have in my town is habaneros, I always have to order some ghost pepper flakes online

Pure cap is 16 million scoville, a pepper above 16 million would be inconceivable

A moroccan cactus does produce Resiniferatoxin which is has a scoville rating of 16 billion

I would properly dilute and try resiniferatoxin. Maybe I'll grow some of the cactii.

You can already buy pure capsaicin crystals online.
Could start with that. I tried them straight once and it was interesting.
They're also light as shit so once you open the container you're basically gonna be doing rails of the stuff anyway

Did you dissolve them in oil or alcohol? I hear they're way hotter that way.

I just grow them myself and then throw them in a dehydrator before powdering them in a coffee grinder. If my regular grocery store didn’t at least have habaneros, I would probably go look in an Asian supermarket or a Mexican supermarket since they both like hot food
