Hi there fellow chefs. At the moment im eating this fresh sallad. I love a nice hamburger once in a while but i also know the importance of a varied diet. That's why i excercise daily and don’t drink more than two cans of soda a week. I used to eat a lot of fast food and it had a negative effect on both my mood and my body. Thanks to my new diet I’m happier and more physically fit than ever. Also, this sallad taste great!

I finished eating so can't post a pic but I made Steak au Poivre with a NY Strip for the steak, cognac to deglaze the pan, shallots, garlic to soak it up and heavy cream for the actual sauce.

I can put up a pic of dinner that I had a while ago: Lamb Loin Chops with a garlic, turmeric, kashmir red chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt and black pepper rub (high heat to quickly sear but leave the interior rare), accompanied by a spinach-potato-onion bhurji that was also cooked with a higher amount of same spices plus garam masala and cayenne.

Thanks anon but I just got lucky with a costco sale. They had 10 of those lamb loins for $31, onions and potatoes cost a pittance, the spinach was also a giant costco bag for like $7. Overall that dish cost me about $9.

The bhurji is literally sweat 1 diced onion in a deep saucepan with oil and a bit of butter for about 3-4, then 1 chopped potato goes in until cooked so 5-10 mins. Add the spices to the degree of heat you want (i love spicy indian food so i went above and beyond), then add chopped spinach and cover the pan so the water can sweat out of them. Once it's out, take off the cover and let the water evaporate. You can keep adding more spinach in the same fashion to this thing if you feel its not enough. Really simple and really delicious.

"LEMONS could be here" he thought, "I've never been on this planet before. There could be LEMONS anywhere." The cool wind felt good against his bare chest. "I HATE LEMONS" he thought. Since moving I've ate nothing but pasta. Spaghetti with some sauce or butter. Last week I made chicken in my crock pot for the first time but i just mixed it with spaghetti and alfrefo sauce. Tbh I just don't know what else to make. Most recipes have so many ingredients and a lot of them go to waste after.
Crock pot seems okay. Overcooked chicken. 6 hours on low came out to 200 internal heat was supposed to be 165. Not sure followed advice since i never used before.

Capers are dope. Next time you should boil your potatoes the night before and leave them in the fridge. Then when you make your dinner slice them and fry them in oil or butter and get them nice and brown and crispy.

Inside with some jars and sprouting lids that fit wide-mouth mason jars. I just put a spoonful of alfalfa seeds in there and follow the instructions on the seed bag. You soak the seeds for several hours, rinse them, and then after that you just have to rinse them a few times a day. I do it in the morning, around 4-5 pm, and then before I go to bed. In five days you'll have a full ziplock gallon bag worth of sprouts. It's great. Those sprouting lids make it so easy. They have mesh and little legs so that once you start the process, you never have to take them off until the sprouts are ready. Not my picture but that lid looks just like the ones I use.

Not sure. I just put mine in a ziplock bag, put the bag in the refrigerator, and start a new batch in the jars. They last for several days in the fridge and by the time I'm done with what's in the bag, the next batch is done and ready to eat.

I always keep something like picrel around. This time I sweated down aromatics in coconut oil with hot paprika, crushed black pepper, red pepper flake, oregano, coriander, and a pinch of cumin. Added some of that jarred garlic everyone hates (in water, not vinegar... how can you be so retarded idk) as this is exactly the best time to use it. Let that blend for a minute then I sautéed some diced yukon potatoes and carrots for 5 minutes. Dropped a tablespoon of butter in and gave it a couple more minutes. Added the soup, rinsed can of garbanzo beans, and about a cup of water. Then I simmered for 30 minutes. Served on basmati rice.

I variate the fuck out of stuff like this. Usually use coconut oil but I like uncased sweet or hot sausage as well. I'll brown it and remove the sausage, make my sofrito, and put it back in - same deal, 30 mins with whatever I've got in the pantry.

I just ate that. Feel free to judge me idc, it was fucking amazing and I wish I could have shared a bowl with you.
