Depends what kind of ramen.
I add bacon lardons to pic related.
Got the Korean black bean flavour which I'm gonna have later and add some fried up steak to.
If they're relatively plain kinda ramen I usually fry up some prawns and chillies and add that.

>> No.17384413

Sometimes I add shredded cabbage and carrots., which I would cook a little before adding the noodles.

Why waste ingredients on fucking ramen, of all things? That's like making a dark chocolate glaze for little debbie cakes.

>> No.17384897

That's sooo wasteful. Why toss out the broth?

>> No.17384967

>>17384272
No, I'm too lazy to do that. Cooking instant ramen is too much of an effort as it is, even without adding extra stuff to it. I am also proudly living in a vegetable-free house and don't like eggs so there's not much I could add to it in the first place.

Usually an egg. Sometimes leftover steak or chicken chopped up and added at the end. Green onion and minced garlic is also good.

It is though. Sometimes I just boil some water in the kettle and pour it over the block style ramen in a bowl instead of actually cooking it in a pot.

If mental health issues count, then yeah.

Start with 2 cups water, add a tin of herring in Louisiana hot sauce, some frozen broccoli and frozen peeled raw shrimp. Sprinkle in dried chopped onions, cracked black pepper, dill weed, and a splash of soy sauce. Crack two or three eggs in on top. Did I mention I don't use the "spice" packet?

I prefer stir fry, I never been much of a broth type, but I am trying to change that with making my own from scratch, especially seeing as I get a lot of bones from smoking so many pork shoulders, might as well make broth.
That's why I use like 2 pieces of flattish bacon, get that pan nicely coated.

with instant ramen cook it al dente, drain, add heavy whipping cream & milk along with some grated cheese & pop it on the stove for a bit longer
