I made pot stickers, bao buns, egg rolls, shu mai. Made some miso glazed chicken and some various little veggie dishes. Wanted to do a peking duck initially but that's just too much work. Still considering doing a cake for the weekend.

The cheek meat and tongue were very good, like braised lamb, very tender. The palate was a little weird. The eye was strangely good, it was a very savory meaty bite, and wasn't chewy at all. The fried thing in the middle was the brain, which was amazing, really the star of the show. Very creamy and rich, with the flavor of steak fat. The sides are potato, swede (rutabega), and rotkohl with apples.

Nope, first time, just always wanted to try it after watching videos of lambs head Smalahove in Norway and Iceland. Of course, they have theirs skin on, and its cured like corned beef. In the USA I couldn't find lambs head skin on, i ended up going to an Islamic butcher who cut it in half for me. It's a once in a lifetime experience, to eat a sheep's eyeball. The wife was very into it. She's into neopagan and natsoc stuff, so I decided to surprise her with this. I would probably do it again, though.
